This is what I have personally have notice over the years between Wal-Mart and Sam's: If you are not careful, I have seen Sam's sell a lot of stuff (TV's mixers, mp3 players, etc.) for exactly the same price as if you were purchasing it in Wal-Mart. And while the Sam's club manager will usually admit that his prices are "suppose to be" cheaper, they're not. So be very careful about what you are purchase there.
For one, I would check your local Wal-Mart (if you know what you're looking for) to see what price they have on the item (or to see if they can get it and/or both), them see what Sam's is selling the item for now.

One more thing: I live about 150 miles south of Atlanta. I have seen people from Atlanta come to my local Wal-Mart at 4:30AM to get the item they couldn't there. So, no doubt you may need to do the same thing if you find what you want. Because usually, they will only put 2 or 3 TV's on sale for Black Friday. No doubt, Sam's will be willing to do nothing no different.
